The role of the restructured Minister’s Disability Advisory Council is to provide strategic advice to the Minister for Disability on issues related to access and inclusion across South Australia.
Importantly, the new council has a greater emphasis on members with a disability themselves or those who experience disability such as a carer or parent.
The second independent advisory body - the Disability Advisory Network - represents people who use disability services and has a wide representation of members across regions and disability groups.
