Employment Programs & Services

At interwork we know starting a new job isn’t easy. Here are just some of our FREE employment services available to help you along your professional pathway:

Individual Career Advice and Planning

From the beginning, one of our Employment Coordinators will work with you individually to help you complete a thorough assessment of your skills. We will assist you in identifying your abilities, your goals and discuss your work preference. Our objective is to help you prepare, find and maintain suitable employment.

If you are unsure about what your goals are, your Employment Coordinator will develop an individualised plan with you which will include: skills assessments, training opportunities as well as possible work experience placements which can assist you in identifying employment opportunities.

Job Search Plan

We will then develop a career plan tailored to your job search requirements. Your career plan may include, updating interview or job search skills, organising work trials and/or apprenticeships, professional training and maximising personal and employer networks to find work.

Your job search plan will include activities that you will be responsible for as well as support requirements you may have and that will be provided either by Interwork or by another provider.

It is important to highlight that your job search plan is a document which will be constantly reviewed and updated based on your achievements or requirements.
